Lisa Frey

"Speak" is a dance short film about being vulnerable as a man. Torn between the "Alpha Man" on the outside and the softness inside, the two characters embody a man's struggle with his feelings. Uri Eugenio is interpreting the man that society sees from the outside: strong, tough and in control. Lisa Frey dances his feelings: soft, vulnerable, sometimes out of control. Together they have a challenging dance of pulling and pushing. Can the male character hold the pressure or does he surrender to his feelings?
